Merci Paris
The iconic concept store Merci invited Sophie Inard in 2023 to present her work in its Paris flagship.
Faced with the challenge of making her crochet-covered objects “useful,” she decided to wrap glass apothecary bottles, whisky jars, and detergent cans in handmade crochet nets, transforming them into poetic vases.
The series was produced in collaboration with a group of retired women artisans in France, combining care, craft, and creativity.
Together, they created 150 unique pieces in just a few weeks, an intense yet joyful experience that bridged art, community, and everyday life.
