Footshop Paris x Sophie Inard
For my collaboration with Footshop Paris, I explored the worlds of sneaker culture and sport through a series of sculptures and a site-specific installation.
My practice involves wrapping familiar, symbolically charged objects in a second skin, entirely handmade through crochet. This gesture transforms our perception of these icons: the power of the object meets the softness of the yarn, while function gives way to a new sculptural presence.
